The Misty English Countryside

When the sun is not there, the English countryside is always forlorn and misty.
At dawn, and at dusk, the grass is veiled in a cold haze.
But this is exactly the best time for Man and Dog to walk on the moist and verdant grass.
This is the time for them to be close to nature.
Dog sniffs around happily.
In a flash, a squirrel appears.
Not minding its manners, Dog barks excitedly up the tree.
Man carries on, not worrying a bit.
For he knows very well, it will not desert him for a squirrel.
And soon after, it rushes up to him, wagging its tail and leading the way.
Man and Dog keeping an eye on each other in the cold mist, continue with their journey.
